I think you should just get an RS2 while you still can.

Default Thx but no thanks...too much $$ and doesnt meet my goals....

I dont want just to sit at 380 HP w/ FMIC and be stuck there....I prefer to just do it right the first time and dial down the boost until internals are forged...otherwise I have to dump 1600 now on the RS2...sell it...for maybe 1000 and pick up a Garrett shortly down the road.

However I have heard great things about the RS2 w/ the FMIC...heard it is an amazing set-up for a very freeway friendly car.

Default K, just don't say I didn't warn ya. ;-)

RS2 can be had for about 1200, my friend. Then when the time comes to go bigger, you can throw a bigger cold side on it and get to 420 or so.
I'm hooked on it, it spools at 2600, isn't noisy and oil burning like a lot of hybrids I've seen, it's safe, it looks stock and the car pulls like a cheerleader giving her first, very enthusiastic handjob. ;-)
I can cruise at 75mph or so in top gear and hit it and the torque is just unbelieveable.
I don't see the need to go any bigger, unless 200 bucks is going to break the bank.

Best of luck, though, just trying to give you a heads up on what can happen...and it ain't pretty when it does. ;-)

hhhmmmmmmmmm....Daddy Like! and I am hitting boost at lower RPM than the old turbo which was a bit of a worry for me.

Reminds me of that cheerleader too- at her first drive-in. Let hook up and I will take you for a ride.
