Fuel pressure regulator

Fuel pressure regulator
Has anyone installed a rising rate fuel pressure regulator? My mods include NEA chip, GFB BP valve, stromung exhaust...is a rising rate fuel pressure regulator necessary? I had an old SAAB turbo, and the rising rate regulator made a difference at higher RPM. Just wondering if the stock regulator on these cars us up to the task.

So far with 390 HP on an RS2-ed UrS4 we've had no issues
and the legends stating that the fuel pump isn't good enough at high RPM on the UrS4 with RS2 injectors and turbo is totally false as well, yesterday while tuning a friend's UrS4 with RS2 turbo, injectors and 7A exhaust cam, we've temporarily "pushed" it to about 390 HP while constantly monitoring EGTs and no EGT increase at high RPMs, the fuel pump was totally up to the task.
Now I don't know how your NEA chip is programmed but as long as it doesn't ask too much from the stock injectors (which are pretty small BTW), there won't be any need for a rising rate FPR that (IMHO and IME) will only mess up the mixture by over enrichening it at high boost, while the mixture has been programmed according to the boost levels you're running...

Speaking of RS2 Turbo....here is one that is 317 at the wheels w/ FMIC
Mihnea...a friend of my Frank Amorso has a full RS2 conversion on his S4...he did 317 HP at the wheels w/ a FMIC...w/o the FMIC it was 292 on 91 Octane fuel. I guess it was pretty stable...and got an extra 25 HP at the wheels w/o any software changes...so I guess that was pretty cool ;-)

The design has since changed a bit on the FMIC...but I think the numbers are simular...
