I have two current issues that a needing to be addressed and need some help.

1) Brake light on dash is flickering. Saw some most recent posts on this same issue. Question: does the power steering pump and resevoir power the brakes as well? The bomb was replaced about 60k miles ago. The power steering fluid and brake fluid have both been flushed about 20k miles ago.
The brake light has typically come on for an instance under hard braking, but this past week has been staying on longer and flickering along the way. Brakes appear fine otherwise.

2) Center dash light - the center info light that shows the am/fm channel works sometimes. The light works best when it was cold outside. When it is a hot day, it is usually blank and does a beep as it goes out. Even on a cold day when it is initially working, after about 7 miles or so it goes blank again. I had replaced the dash pod, so I expect this is not the issue.

Any help is appreciated on these two electical gremlins.

As for item #1 mine was solved by a thorough power bleeding of the brake fluid. I went with Silkolene Pro-Race 2000 DOT 4 fluid as that's what I used to use with great success in my Porsche.

I am very happy with the pedal feel. My console brake light was reluctant to turn off (30-45 seconds) before the flush, not it turns off right away.
