I'm not arguing the quality, just the price. Obviously, with the rarity of these cars, suspension bits are going to be few and far between... But you figure there's gotta be some KW, H&R or other coilovers that sell in Europe that are similarly priced and don't require welding.

I guess I'm just cheap.

But $2400 for a turbo back exhaust? We did headers back on an NSX the other day. All titanium construction and it was only $2000 for the bits. Factory fit too.

They wanted $550 for an RS2 MAF. I can get one brand new for $300 from my parts guy.
Oh, it is just starting. Wait until it is time for a new front bumper, or sunroof control panel, or.... **** near anything on these cars. Thankfully, these cars are fairly bullet proof.

It is unfortunate that they are so high priced, but i guess when there are just a handfull of shops that handle this type of model and design they have a strangle hold on the price aspect, however i do believe that he got a good deal compared to what he would usually get under there roof, most likely due to the situation with the economy as of late. I can pretty much only name 3 business's in the US that i know of that specialize in URS4/S6 or other early 90's based super S-cars.

TAP (Total Audi Performance)
034 Performance
And of course 2BENNET.

it's almost cheaper to go euro front bumper.
How does the S6 bumper differ from the A6 bumper anyway?

For one, the front fender flares don't match up on the A6 front bumper.

FWIW you don't 'need' to weld the perches on. Typically you can get away with just bottoming the new threaded sleeve on the steering arm, if you don't want to weld.

Well it seems to be holding up on the roads here in Vegas. They probably aren't as bad, but close
