Three screen captures would be good:

1. Standard - the way we were given vB on Monday
2. Threaded - the way I have mine set now - which is what they should have given us on Monday - to ease the pain.
3. Hybrid - I have no clue what this means.

With those to compare, people might be less against vB.

Now that I have "Threaded" set, my pet project, the FAQ, is much easier to read/scan.

Hybrid gives you a bunch of "Standard" replies, with the threaded replies allllll the way at the bottom. Kinda a PITA.

Dave, I think we still need to consider revamping the FAQ. Keep in mind that because you prefer Threaded view does not mean that everyone else does.

For the FAQ to be truely useful we have to make it user friendly for everyone viewing preferences.

threaded view is just barely bearable until you click and see the same thing that's in the "thread" line in the post too, with no tip off that there's no text in the actual post. what a waste of time.... I hate this.
