I'm enjoying getting to know my 95.5 S6 Avant and finally now have an Owners Manual.

OM says that the horn should sound when I trigger the remote lock/unlock, but its not sounding. The head and tail lights do blink as they should, and the LED in the control panel blinks indicating the alarm is armed.

I've looked for bad fuse but all seem ok. Any tips on where to look next?

it is programing in the central locking unit that alows you to have only one feature.You can reprogram it to horn only with VAG tool.

I'll check into the "either lights or horn" thing.

Mod Plans?--but of course. May have my A4 Avant sold and if so then springs and shocks will be the first item. Then perhaps brakes--looking at BIRA system 3.

I have VAG-COM that I hooked up to my 95.5 S6 Avant and I am not sure how I can program horn vs lights when I arm the alarm.

Right now it does not honk.
