Anyone know the torque figures for the 4 allen bolts holding the spark plug cover down? TIA

Yes. I think its "snug". (All you need to do is seal an "o-ring" type gasket to the cam cover.)

Welp, good news is that the plugs were not loose. Now on to cleaning the MAF.

Default Just not running right.....

more difficult starts, sluggish performance, hits a flat spot at 3K, idle is really low when A/C is on, poor gas mileage. I just cleaned the MAF, it's drying now. Hope that might help.

Default Just finished a test drive after cleaning the MAF........

it feels stronger, I'm not getting that flat spot at 3K anymore, it pulls right up there with no hesitation. When I was cleaning it I could see a rainbow like color coming off of with the cleaner as it ran out......kind of like when you drop a little oil in water and look at in in the sun. Might have been a very over-oiled K&N. Who knows but for now I'm happy. I'm still going to do plugs/fuel filter, airfilter, 02 sensor, etc. over the next few weeks. We'll see if my mileage improves during a weekend trip to Mass.
