Default Anyone ever seen this before? sorry for the crappy cell pic

I smelt something that smelt like plastic burning while driving home tonight. About the same time , the bulb out warning beeped in. I got home, pull the headlight backing and found this. What would cause this and where can i get a new connector?

Default Happened to me once. I run 100W bulbs and they melted the connector.

Connectors can be had at most auto part stores for under $5 each. Might think about relaying your lights if you run high watt bulbs.

If the connection is not tight, it arcs, causing it to melt like that.

Default Got the new connector at Autozone for $3 and its works perfect.

But what an experience I had at the stealer. The guy at the parts counter actually tried to tell me that Audi didn't make an S4 in '93 and they wanted to charge me double for the part because they would've had to special order it.
