The way how the sensor works is that it must make contact to the rotor to complete the wear pad light indicator circuit.

My (0) face just showed up last night after I ran into a deep pothole.

I took out the car sensor wire off from the pad sensor and reconnected thinking the connection became loose.

No luck, (0) still shows.

Any ideas? Pads are brand new, just installed 1 week ago. After install, diagnostic was OK, no (0) face.

Is there a way to "reset" the (0) as in BMW's?

Go to your suspected side and disconnect the pad, place a jumper across the terminals on the car and if the face goes away you know the pad lead is broken someplace or if you have a multimeter, set it to the ohms scale and measure the resistance across the pad terminals, low resistance means the pad lead is intact, high resistance or open indicates the pad is bad. If you don't solve it on one side, reconnect, then go to the other and repeat the procedure
