Any of you guys use CB Radio?

I've been kicking around the idea of installing one in my S6. The biggest issue for me is how to do an elegant install.
I used to use an Archer radio scanner that worked great until the cops in my area started using Digital trunking. I'll get another scanner eventually but Digitally trunked scanners are about $500...
Anyways, back to CB radios:
#1. is the radio itself. I'd like to get a Uniden PC68 Elite. I like the red backlighting and I'll take as much sound quality and clarity as I can get... The question is where to install it...
#2. is the antenna. A stealthy install would be nice, the question is how. I was thinking laying the antenna flat along the edge of the windshield and rear glass along the pillars...

Try the cobra 75 wxst. Great compact cb radio.
It may not be the red backround your looking for. If you don't really plan on talking on it much, you can always buy a Uniden Bearcat. Looks as large as the CB you posted the picture for but can pick up much more. If you like the CB, I have a used on to sell if your interested.

cobra 75 wx st

We keep a portable in the truck and listen to truckers bust each others ***** when stuck on the pass
We just have a portable that we keep in the glovebox of the pickup. Its entertaining and kept for emergencies but I don't think I would install one permanently.

I mounted mine on the inside of the passenger side footwell. There's a screw there...
...thats easy to mount a bracket to. You can see where I mounted it here.
