Another //S car adventure
So thought I would share these photos with you guys. 2 weeks ago me an Patico 93' S4 went up to New Hampshire to pick up a 94' S4, and well...it was an "interesting" journey -note the time in the pictures-
First off, we sorta knew it was coming, but battery was dead, no worries, we got time...charged the car up using the *pimp* a** minivan (that yes, chefbob, is now fixed from that stupid mile marker jumping out at me on the highway!)
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/55085/img_1264.jpg">
Car was a little low on oil, but eh, we can get home on what's in there...
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/55085/img_1265.jpg">
We were told the ignition switch was bad, so threw a new one in there, and used the good old screwdriver method
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/55085/img_1269.jpg">
The car would *not start* for the life of us after charging the battery for nearly an hour and it was freezing outside, so we decided to head off and find a new battery...got to Midas and they wouldn't sell us a bettery unless the car was *physically there*... whatever...cruised a mile down the road to AutoZone, got a new battery and went back to try it out. Got back to where the S4 was and realized we needed a 13mm wrench to get the batter retainer out of the car...unreal! After installing the new battery we tried starting it up again...nothing...WTF?! Tried it one more time before giving up on it, and somehow it cranked once and came alive...WOW!
So finally, we're off 1.5 hours later on our way back to Connecticut!
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/55085/img_1272.jpg">
I think the sleep deprivation the night before got to me...had to pick up Patico 93' S4 at 4 something in the morning at Logan Airport in Boston...I am just waiting for the comments on this one...
<img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/55085/img_1275.jpg">
Anyways, all in all it was a fun trip and hilarious in the end...it just goes back to the fact that "there is always something" with these cars, and somehow it is oddly fun and entertaining!

Re: Another //S car adventure
lol im captionless on the last pic, oh the car is boosting fine now allthough the n75j valve seems to boost a lil different than the stock h valve But the stock hardware for the valve cover is just too damn fubar so im gonna stick it on trevor and max as easy of a job it is.
I couldnt agree more on the last comment, this car is like a damned woman sometimes, always needing something.

No plates, no bumper, no headlights... through the state capitol, eg state police heaven.... ah, good times
