I removed the radio and Audi provided me the code. Now the problem is that the "Safe 11" (two attempts previously attempted indicated by the slashes) which is in lock mode, will not exit this lockout even while leaving radio on for over one hour as directed in manual. It is supposed to allow you after one hour to re-attempt the proper code. Any suggestions? It is an Audi Delta radio. Of course the dealer said I need to buy a new radio! This sucks!

the correct replacement is OEM, which is black.

Mine was more like three hours, but eventually it cleared.

The potentially good news is recently Audi was firesaling Deltas for $25 wholesale.

Since my last post I turned the key to the start position with the radio on. It has been almost two hours but the radio had shut itself off?? Any idea why this is happening?
