Default 93 S4 leaks fluids

My 93 S4 is leaking hydraulic fluid. At first it was just a drip which I traced to the hydraulic(p/s) pump. The lower half of the pump is wet from the leak so I know that I must replace the pump. But now there is a massive leak(I'm leaving drips of hyd fluid everywhere I go)so I parked the car. I checked under the hood and it looks like the high pressure hose(pump to pressure accumulator)is leaking - but in a strange way. The high pressure hose is clean from the pump to where the hose goes into the section covered by foam insulation. At that point the hose is VERY wet. At the other end of the hose it's the same - the pipe going into the accumulator is dry but the insulation is VERY wet.

Is the high pressure hose prone to failure and does anyone know the part #?

Thanks in advance.

I think you are talking about Item 8, PN 4A0612065.

Yep, I believe that is the part. Thanks much for the expanded parts view. BTW, is it common for that hose to leak/fail?

Many people have had theirs fail. Depends on mileage and use.

Believe that's an expensive hose, often called the "J hose" I also believe people often send them to a shop named House of Hoses in the Pacific Northwest, Seattle possibly, to get them repaired. Might be worth checking into if you have the turn around time to go that route.

It's in Spokane, WA. Not sure if they still do them. They definitely did do them and they knew the ins and outs, especially what to do with the built-in flow restrictor during the rebuild (often left out by other firms).
