Audi SQ5 first drive

Well the SQ5 rides a bit higher up, so it does have a slightly tippy feel compared to the allroad, which in reality is very much about sporty handling. Once you get accustomed to the SQ5's ride height, and the way it turns in (it wants to be leaned hard on its springs) you can hustle it along very well.

Hi all,
I wish you a happy new year. This is my first post in this forum...
I drove a SQ5 last month for testing. Comming from a 20 years BMW history of cars, this was my first test drive of an Audi since years.
It was really fun. Especially the sound of the car is so nice and you do not hear the Diesel sound any more. THIS is one of my main reasons to decide for the 3 litre V6 biturbo. Performance wise the car is a dream! It really jumps forward if you floor it and there is a certain stability which I am not used too coming from RWD BMWs.
The ride high is really different, currently I have a Z4 and a F11 Touring, so for me it was quite new to sit that high. The ride is a bit stiff, but it corners really good. Ok for me as a daily driver, but because of the lack of a full air suspension nothing for my wife. So we decided in the end against it and we will go (I think) for the A6 after the facelift comes out this year.
