What’s the button with the car pointing downhill with a speedo on top do?
Photo attached...I can’t seem to figure out what it does...could it be because I live in an area with zero hills?

This should be ‘Hill Descent Control’

HDC is an off-road feature. Allows you to take your focus off of throttle/brakes and focus instead on traversal of the obstacles downhill. Not gonna be a lot of etron owners that actually use that feature.

funny thing, I've had SUVs with HDC for 20 years, I used HDC for the first time ever, in my e-tron last weekend doing a little off-roading, worked great!

Off-roading an E-Tron? Oooh...my, my. Who is going to be the first to grind a log or punch a rock through that battery pack on the bottom of the car? Should be fun when you do! Please take a video.....

wasn’t rock crawling, not enough clearance for that. Just doing some steep inclines and declines on rough terrain and loose rocks on some mountain roads. The car did great with putting power to the proper wheels.

Hello there. Thanks for the explanation, guys. I thought I would have gone crazy on figuring out what the hell that thing is. Thanks a lot. That's why we need forums. Wish I had seen this thread earlier. I thought I would find something in the manual, but I didn't manage to find at least something that would drop me a hint on that button. You know, I even had to ask my friend from https://www.jdmbuysell.com/ about this. Anyway, I'm still grateful for your explanation. Thanks. Best wishes.
