Tailgate Opening Randomly

I have never had this tailgate issue, but I wonder if it needs two things to help solve it from Audi down the line.
1. A better tailgate sensor that prevents the tailgate from opening into obstacles unless manually overridden. There are radars and sonars all around the car. I am not sure why you can't have another sensor on the tailgate.
2. Don't laugh, but an app that gave the phone owner an intrusive push notification of tailgate opening and closings. I know that we hate intrusive notifications, but the owner could dial these in for how they actually appeared.
So you have one item to prevent the issue from occurring and one item to notify the user on the off chance it does occur.
Finally, maybe the ability to open and close the tailgate from the app?

I think I posted on this before on another thread. But on Sunday, go out to the garage, hatch is open. The fob was not in the pocket, it was hanging on a hook. The hatch opens on it's own, period.

Got Lucky Again
Over the weekend I went into the grocery store. I had the etron key in the huge front loose pocket of my hoodie. The key touched nothing except clothing material. I did not lean on anything frontal either. Came out about 5-10 min later, the hatch is wide open LOL. I'm just lucky it never happens in Philly .

It happened to me so often that I had to take my key out of my pocket each time I sat down in the house....for that function the range of the remote was incredible, for everything else, meh.
Since I got my iX though it has never happened.

2021 55 Sportback. I was golfing last summer. I loaded up my clubs with my fob in the golf bag. The hatch was closed when I left. When I finished the game, the hatch was wide open. Fortunately, I was playing in rural Ontario "cottage country". Nothing was taken.
