1, With the tech tool read the values of the battery module and save it into a file (around 40 minutes per Audi).
2, Send the file to Germany. As per Audi: "The analysis is carried out by factory representatives, located in Germany. Once the TAC case is created using the directions below, the data will be analyzed, and a response will be provided within 24 hours (in most cases)."
3, As per Audi "The response back from Germany may take up to 24 hours. During this time, the vehicle cannot be released to the customer"
4, When the mothership replies, then the car can be released if there is no module change needed. If the battery module(s) has to be replaced, the car cannot be released until the module got changed.
Manual telematics ...

and let me guess battery modules are on backorder for 2-3+ months, so you will get your car back in 6-9 months....

Update on the 93U9 recall repair: It has been one week since the car was taken to dealer and I haven't heard anything back yet. Will follow up once I hear back from the dealer.

Mine is going in tomorrow for parts of the 40k service and the recall. Hopefully, they're quicker than a week.

Default 2021 Etron going in for Battery Recall Wednesday

My car is going in tomorrow. I was contacted by the Audi Experience team to let me know that Telematics were showing the need for one or more modules needing to be replaced. They then connected with my local dealership and will be taking my car in tomorrow. They mentioned the repair can take 2-6 business days. We shall see if this is true. The biggest challenge is that the dealerships only have one specialized lift for their electric cars and that an Etron tech will need to fly out.

Update on the 93U9 recall: Finally hear back from the dealer's service department. After testing the battery, it is functioning normally and will not need a replacement.
TSB #2060814/3 was also performed and turns out that the module was at fault. The module was reading 1.8 miles per kilowatt and after it was replaced, it is now showing 2.3 miles per kilowatt on the GOM.
At 78% SOC, the range is showing at 153 miles. Hope this TSB repair will clarify the range issue that some of you had recently.

Part of the recall includes warning stickers, one was placed right side of the screen and other was placed next to the charge port.

What?!

What recall specifically? That's a garbage solution.

Indeed. The solution is that we take away 20% of the functionality ...

So, is this acknowledgement that charging above 80% is what triggers the respective condition?

That screen sticker must be a joke. I'd peel that off before leaving the service department.
