Default My Audi warning: front passenger airbag off

For the last couple of weeks, I am getting this warning about the passenger airbag being off in the myAudi app. I rebooted the MMI but it is very persistent. Since I am in the US, I cannot turn the airbag off as there is no switch in the glove box. When someone is sitting in the passenger seat, the car indicates that the airbag is on. Is anybody else seeing this?

I believe that's completely normal. My SQ5 did the same thing.

Yes, I also think that the car is working fine. But this is the first time I see this warning in the three years of ownership. Probably some software fluke in the app or the server I assume.

This warning just popped up for me as well yesterday...I was wondering if there was something heavy on the passenger seat or something.
Great work Audi.

I’ve had it constantly since the day I bought. My son usually rides shotgun but is only with me 50% of the time and so I get the warning for the rest of the time he isn’t home. Totally normal…

This might be one of those funky warnings that might clear if you start up the car after letting it go into its deepest sleep state.

Warning also recently showed up on my app last week and has stuck around since.

Unfortunately not. I let the car sit for a couple of days since it popped up the first time fully locked with windows up etc. The warning is still there.

just checked my Audi app and there is the message. eTron happens to be at dealer service as well. Must be a server bug.
