After a recent MMI software update- I verified Amazon Alexa was working in my 2019 e-tron. I asked it to tell me a joke. Cute. But has anyone found this to be useful in a car? What for?

Shopping lists. I know that it sounds inane, but it has revolutionized how I maintain shopping lists. Between Alexa at home and Alexa in the car, anything you want added to the shopping list is conveniently listed and annotated. If I am shopping from Whole Foods, I can have the list moved into my online purchase basket and have the items delivered. If I am shopping at a regular curbside pickup, I just have it remove the items as purchased.

That is really the only thing I have used Alexa for, but I use it all the time.

I use it for one thing and it works well for that thing. When I leave the house, I can say "Alexa, im leaving" and then it arms my ring alarm system.

Similar to kspider, except that when I'm a couple of blocks from home I can say "Alexa, turn on the living room lights".
