Features you didn't know about?
Find any neat features you didn't know about? let's compile some lesser-known features.
It makes sense it has it, but I didn't realize you could open the hatch with a swipe of your foot.

I hadn't realized that the upper and lower side bolsters on the Prestige level seats were adjustable. Like the 18 way sport seats in my Porsche, they can be inflated to provide more lateral support. Unlike the Porsche, they deflate when I leave the car but re-inflate to my last setting when I enter. I had seen where they were described as "individual contour" seats on the window sticker but I thought that was just "marketing speak". Anyway, pretty cool!

Head rests can move forward and back, not just up and down
Satellite radio pauses at start of songs, so when surfing through favorites, assuming there’s enough buffer, it is always at the start of a song when switching to a different channel
Econ mode on A/C compressor (not just on/off)
Programming steering wheel’s “star” button to open garage door (I learned this from earlier threads, but still marvel at it). And it is a short button-press, not like the longer press I was used to with older Home Link buttons

- At first I thought that the car's radio had no AM band: however, you can get AM HD stations on the FM HD band. This is great for news / traffic stations.
- And - the most important if you have kids - there's a menu option for the rear window / door locks to also lock out the rear climate controls:

In US, before delivery of my Edition 1, none of the specs says there is an amplified booster phone box with either external or embedded in glass antenna. It makes a huge different in the suburbs.

"Launch" Feature and S Mode
Discovered the "Launch" Feature last night. Not sure of its practicality, but kind of cool....Couldn't tell much difference from just flooring the accelerator from stand still.
On a related note- didn't know about the gear selector to "S" Mode to Add the little extra boost to the acceleration.

I was pleasantly surprised by the phone box, too. Here are a few other favorite surprises:
1. Never needed Carplay because the MMI already has buttons for songs, podcasts, etc.
2. The 'comfort' setting where the steering wheel raises on shutdown, and lowers back to your preferred setting on startup.
3. Windshield wiper 'service' setting, where you turn the car off and then press the wiper stalk down for 3 seconds to park the wipers.
4. The ability to have the climate control activate upon unlocking the car instead of upon starting the car.
5. Interior lights that come on based on which door handle is touched.
I also like that the hood/bonnet release in most Audi vehicles require you to open the driver's door first. Noone asked about "unpleasant" surprises, but I've been annoyed a couple of times to find the car shuts itself off if you put it in Park and exit and then don't get back in quickly enough.
