And then pull 3ga and run a 100a breaker.

F150, Taycan/etron GT, Hummer, and fat etron with the 22kw charger upgrade are the only EVs I know of that will utilize that 19kw today.

Good to know.

Just not super common today to have more than 11kw of onboard charging.

Isn't the new Silverado EV also coming with 80A and LTV to match?

So does Audi as an option for the Q8 etron. For home charging, in my opinion, it is completely unnecessary. Tesla used to offer a 22kW option but dropped it years ago due to lack of interest.

Had the recall last week, got a new 240 pigtail. I've never used it, but I use the 120v frequently when traveling to my Mom's or in-law's places. After the flash update to the EVSE, the 120v charging is faster. I saw 1.3 kW at my Mom's this week. Never saw more than 1 kW previously. Nice bonus to get about 30% faster charging.

Jumping back in to the fold.

So I managed to get my charger updated last week when I took the car in for a new seat. Have yet to try it out because I had to buy a new Charge Point Charger to be able to charge my car In addition, my nema plug is now totally white, from being brown, and I want to have it replaced. Would it be reasonable to assume that I can put in for a request for reimbursement on these two items?

I took the charger in several times for shorting out and was always told there is nothing wrong with the charger and it's my home electricity, which is not the case. The last time I took it in, I was instructed to run it at 50% as it's not designed to run at 100%. I was livid stating that I purchased the car because of the charge rate and a 50% charge makes the car unusable to me on a daily basis.

Just wondering who's claiming what.

I would not use your existing NEMA socket until it's replaced, and please make sure to purchase a Hubbell one, not a 'contractor grade' unit found at Home Depot, etc.

My home charger is a Grizzl-e. I only use the portable charger on the road.

Contact Audi USA about your case. Your service department is not going to help you on this one outside of maybe an Audi gift card which has to be used there. Audi USA might actually just send you one of their Audi Visa gift cards they seem to have drawers full of.
