Default Battery range vs percentage

Is there a way for the Virtual Cockpit to show the remaining percentage instead of the range (I know there is a gauge, but I’d prefer an actual number)? I find the remaining range to be unreliable and would instead prefer to see the numerical percentage remaining.

There is not, unfortunately. You can only see the exact percentage value in the MMI.

You should be able to add a shortcut that will bring up the charging menu so you can access that screen without too much trouble. But adding shortcuts in MMI is not intuitive.

This is what I do, as I found it annoying to have to click a half dozen times just to see the battery percentage. Now I just open the shortcut menu, tap "Charging" and there it is.

Saw this in a Bjorn Nyland video, the Q8 (or at least the EU market Q8) shows the percentage on the dial, right next to the classic arc indicator.

If you're looking for an exact % I don't see it but on my dash i have a dial around the left side that has 100/0 and has bars going down it showing the % left.

I will say, after driving EVs for 5 years now, % is not really what I care about, the guess-o-meter range after you've driven it for a while gets pretty good at a 'how much until i need to charge' vs a battery %

Long trips, mountains, winds, give me percentage please. As a number.

Short trips, unchanging conditions, GOM is nicer.

I’ve added a lot of shortcuts but I haven’t found a way to add this specific one. Could you post what you did to save this shortcut.

On the MMI

Vehicle => Charging and efficiency

There is a charging button. Do a long press while parked.

Strange - my MMI doesn’t have that option. I have Vehicle > Charging (i.e., no “and efficiency”) and holding that down doesn’t do anything
