can you tell me a little more about this?
where do you see weight rating? I see they share the same max load of 2,205 lb and “glad range” of XL. The only different I see is the “service desc” which is 108Y vs 108V — which looks like Pirelli can do a higher max speed than CC2.

what am I missing?

My bad, they have three versions of the same tire. One has an XL rating. At $100 more per tire than the OE Continental that is designed for EV.

Give them a shot, let us know. Probably just fine. Proceeds support F1 so why not.

I have a 2019 Prestige that needs new tires soon on the 21" wheels. I'm still running the original Continentals with 25K miles. The Contis have been great so far but open to a change. Any additional feedback on the OEM Hankooks?

I did my research (for my 2019 Prestige) few months ago but decided to stick with the OEM Continental since I like the ride/noise for the last 25K miles. I also want to keep as close to the range as possible.

I think the Hankooks have a well deserved reputation for wearing very quickly. I had 33K on my 21” OEM Contis when I sold my ‘19 and they still were just above the wear bars. I was planing on these Michelins if I had decided to keep the car though:

Do you think the Cross Climate Michelin would handle in the dry as well as the Contis?

My opinion on the cross climate is a lot of marketing hype.

It might live up to some of the claims. But it sure is an ugly tire. It will probably be very loud as soon as it starts to wear in.

It gets great reviews from owners, and being a Michelin it’s a premium tyre.

Ugly? I’ve seen them on several different cars and whilst different looking, they look as good as a tyre gets; especially in wider aspects.

YMMV.
