2020/2021 e-tron Sportback Prestige
I have decided my next car will be an e-tron despite having previously sworn off Audis as my last three cars required a new rear sport diff; both turbos; and a new engine respectively.
We have a Q7 for long trips and hauling, so I'm willing to sacrifice the practicality of the e-tron for the looks of the Sportback model. However, I also want all the toys that the Prestige trim level offers. The problem is I don't see a single '20 or '21 Sportback in Prestige spec for sale in the US. Did they only make a few hundred of them or something? They do exist, right?

We love the vehicle so far but doing some homework now will certainly help you set your expectations. Go into it with your eyes open. Range is on lower end. Be aware of the issue with the moonroof drains getting plugged up at times. Audi connectivity is spotty at best.

Audi did not have a 2020 MY in the US due to COVID. For Sportbacks it's a little complicated. For the SUV, Audi sold all etron quattros in the US as 2019 MY cars until the 2021 MY was introduced, even though they switched in Europe to manufacturing and marketing a 2020MY car (slight differences in drivetrain and brakes to boost range a little). In the US, in fact, towards the end of 2020, when Audi ran out off 2019 cars to sell, Audi relabeled 2020 cars and sold them as 2019 cars. The Sportback is a little more complicated--the SB was not introduced until 2020. So, in Europe both a MY 2020 SUV and 2020 SB came out. Audi started selling the SB in the US, as well, in 2020. I recall there being a lot of confusion about this, since in the US Audi did not have a 2020 marketing season, so I'm not sure if "2020 SB" was also relabeled a 2019 at the time.

22-23 have fewer motor fails based on owner reports online. But even the '24 Q8 is now down in the $60k range used, so there's that. Is the 20% extra range of the Q8 any interest to you?

I took the plunge and traded in my 2013 S6 on this beautiful 2020 Edition One Sportback. It only has 11k miles on it and is more or less in like new condition with 9 months on the original factory warranty. I'll purchase the extended warranty as well. Loving it so far, but it's only getting 2.2 mi/kwh historically, and I'm getting about that much too. Fortunately, I'm not planning on doing long trips with it. Everything else seems amazing.

I had my eye one last year just like that in Ohio. May I ask what you paid for it? The Audi dealer that had it a year ago with 10K miles on it was asking 70K for it if I recall.
