Default YAHOO!! Got my official Warranty Extension letter from Audi!

Snail mail and e-mail..

Better..than I thought..
in essense My New Car Warranty has been extended to 100,000 miles or 5/28/2009..whichever comes first. No Audi Advantage.. as agreed. Its not transferable.

Now... can I transfer/sell my AWB to someone elses car instead of cancelling it?

Any offers? It is the last of the true allroad exclusionary plans..

Default I checked..

the car with the plan could be transferred but the plan on its own can nont. They will refund about 50%, but I am wondering if I should keep it on in case I take the magic piece of silicon out of its envelope and put it back where it came from.. ;-)

Default I would take the 50%

and throw it into a good investment...even if you get "wild" with the silicon your probably ok....especially with revised software.

Have fun. You only live once. Don't spend money you don't need to. Thats a great deal from Audi - I would be happy with that.

Default I am happy!!..

Not to mention the whole thing took less than a month from the initial letter to the resolution. And it was an easy, low key and very professional experience to say the least.

I was not only impressed with the outcome, but with the People at Audi who took care of me.
As I said in my thank you letter to the Brass at AoA, the experience was a great example of how Audi leads and never follows.

Default Will it be valid outside the US?

I'm living in the US right now but will move back to Europe in 2 months and take my AR. My 4 year US warranty will revert back to two years, unlimited miles as soon as my AR is in Europe (typical European warranty)

Do you know if the extended warranty would be valid in Europe as well? Is it Audi of America giving the warranty or Audi Germany?
