Will 235/55/17 tires fit
I was looking to go to a slightly larger tire on my 04 Allroad 2.7t and was wondering what size tires people were running on their Allroads with out rubbing.
I have the factory 5 spoke 17" rims
Any insight would be greatly appreciated,
thanks in advance

this might be an old question…
does anybody know the right size(mm) spacers to use for the front & rear just to bring out tires to the fender edge?
do I need longer bolts?
BTW, like I mentioned above post…I have the stock twin spokes with 235/55R17 Pirelli tires
many THX in advance…cheers🍸🍸🍸

If you look at the fender flare, it is curved for top to bottom.
The question is, where do you want the tire to be flush with the fender? At the top of the fender? Half-way? If the wheel is flush with the top of the fender, it sticks out too much the rest of the way down the fender. It will kick up a ton of dirt onto the side of the vehicle, covering doors and even windows. To a small extent that problem already exists with the 10 mm spacers.
You could invest in mud flaps.
