What is everyone's favorite way to connect their iPhone/iPod to their AR?
I have a '02 AR with the Symphony soundsystem. While there's a built-in CD changer, I'm pretty sure the back of the unit has the ability to plug in a separate CD changer, which could be co-opted to connect an iPhone/iPod.
I've heard IceLink mentioned a few times but they no longer produce the AR model the last one I saw had a lame docking unit.
At minimum I want the ability to run a miniplug from my head unit to my iPhone. Extra bonus points if I can attach to both power and sound input and connect to my iPhone via the bottom connect.
Thanks in advance.

... this isn't the answer you're looking for - but since I was reluctant to spend $$$$$$ on a hard-wired solution - and needed to make and receive calls hands free - I bought a Motorola T505 for about $50 - it fits on the visor and transmits through the FM band - actually great quality - and I know, you want a better alternative - but this is a good short-term solution - and you can move the little gizmo from car to car - pretty handy!

Yup, using a cassette adapter now so looking for as good or better quality.
Many of the IceLink and DICE units are $150+. Anyone know of a cable that I can just connect to my CD Changer out? Charging is not super important to me.

I got a Dice adapter for $140 shipped. You can obviously get used ones for less. The benefit of using the ipod cable is not only the charging but also the steering wheel controls.
For a lower price solution, I'd just stick to the cassette adapter. Some of them are pretty good. I'd skip the FM adapter though.

Since I have sat radio on the cd-changer line I went with a cassette adapter routed under the unit and out the passenger well to my Kuda. Sounds much better than any fm transmitter I have tried.
