Default A very Happy new allroad owner

I just purchased a 2002 allroad 6MT and am enjoying the heck out of it. It has 53000 miles and is CPO'd. I live in Atlanta and flew up to New Jersey and picked it up/ drove back in about 15 hours. Purchased at Riverside in West New York. Had a very good buying experience.

Many thanks to Paulroad for all of the expert personal advice and information. He definitely made my experience less stressful. I hope to contribute to the forum once I learn more about my car.

Had a few co-workers make fun of me when they heard I was considering buying a "station wagon". Once they looked at it in the parking garage, their humor turned into down right jealousy. Now they are asking many questions about the car that was initially described as "kryptonite to chicks".

Default "kryptonite to chicks". I'd never heard that before. Maybe that's why my wife let me buy one.

Welcome. Enjoy. Post pictures when you can.

They put on new Goodyears all season, very smooth ride home. Oil changed- they put in 5w-30 synthetic. New brake pads were put on, new floormats installed. New owner's manual, 2 sets of keys. Very clean.

Default Welcome and enjoy your ride, A nice looking Station Wagon is THE ultimate Fun vehicle.

After a few small modifications - give your co-workers a ride and they'll for sure praise your decision.

Default hmmn... I moved out of a sports car

... to get into my allroad. Three different women all complained about the acura, but they universally loved the allroad.

I think it was a combination of low ride height on the Acura (tough on heels, let alone skirts), plus the draw of the heated seats in the allroad: "Oh, I could sit in these chairs forever" (yes - she actually called them 'chairs').

Go figure... Girls can be silly.

Default Congratulations, I heard the same things from some of my

co-workers and friends, and now anytime we go anywhere they want me to drive. Nothing better than smoking someone from a stoplight who looks at you funny for driving a wagon
