Tire sizes
#11
If you are intending to get tires that are not from the factory settings, ask yourself why you will need to do that in the first place. If you want it to look cooler, get a wider tires in diameter but look for a regular one and not a fat tire. The second is that if you want it for performance, get something to go with, I bigger tire and a fatter one for more grip and better handling.

Bolt pattern should be the same as your A4 and most contemporary Audi's. Allroad is 5X112. However Offset will be different so you need spacers (likely 15mm) and longer lug bolts to match thicker spacers (i.e. 15mm longer bolts) . Many Audi wheels can be used on Allroads with spacers, but not the other way around. If you buy spacers MAKE SURE they are hubcentric. The Allroad is already vibation prone and even a slight bit of play in the hub mounting will cause vibration as if your wheels are out of balance. Note that you are unlikely to be able to fit the wheels without spacers. They will sit too far inboard, and probably rub on the airbags, as I think there is less than 15 mm (.6 in) clearance there with most 18" fitments.
I have 18's on mine (Enkei EKM3 with spacers), with 245/45-18's and they fit no problem.

Excuse me.
Diameter of the 225/60R17 is 701.8mm.
The 245/45R17 is 652.3mm.
Totally different.
But the 245/55R17 is 701.3mm.
We can say that the 225/60R17 is the same diameter as the 245/55R17.
Thanks.

i found that the safest fastest speed i can go on the mountain roads that i drive is 60-65 with the 225/60's
thinking that the 235/50's im looking into will be worlds better for carving the hills

Awesome, is this some thing TireRack carries, or should I just go to a local tire shop and tell them I need to have a hubcentric spacer that gives me 25mm offset?
thanks!
thanks!
