my allroad still sits at audi of manhattan. waiting. sad...

Theyre asking 19.9k. has 56k miles still has the 18 inch rs6 reps and Nokes. And the eyebrows are still on. They certified it. So now it has a warranty. Funny thing is if I had purchased an aftermarket warranty prior to reaching 50k miles it would have cost me 3500 - 5000 dollars. Then to buy it after the lease it would have cost me 25k. Now it costs 19.9k for the car and a warranty. I could have turned it in, waited two months and bought it now. saved 10k

http://www.audimanhattan.com/vehicle.asp?v=629147

Default can't we just take is for a test drive?

Swap the 17s for the 18's, swap my SymphII for the RSN-E. They would never know.

It would take.. 30 minutes... ;-)

Default That's called... "larceny." If you're gonna take stuff off a vehicle you're turning into the dealer,

do it before you turn it in. :-P

Once you turn it in, anything attached to the car becomes the dealer's property.

Default I put in an offer on this car...

pre-holidays for $20k with the 60k mile service done, CPO, and the extended warranty. They countered with $20k no warranty or $20,995 with the warranty (ie, they would not budge), so I walked.

Now, they are where they could have sold me the car 3 weeks ago, and it's still unsold, LOL. How's this for bad sales practice...they NEVER CALLED ME BACK WHEN THEY DROPPED THE PRICE TO $20K.

My X3 3.0is is off-lease in April, and I'm already seeing 2006 Cayenne S with around 30k in the low 30's. For an extra 5-10k, tough to justify a 2005 allroad 4.2 versus a 2006 Cayenne S. The 2006 Cayenne's will also still have a bit of factory warranty left on them.

The car is really in beautiful shape; looks like a 25k mile car if anyone is interested.

--do you frequent the bimmerfest forum? there`s someone there in the same spot --who has been toying with cayenne idea as well.

The people at audi manhattan struck me as being dweebs last time I dealt with them --especially the pre-owned dudes. I bought 5 cars from them going back to when it was Zumbach, and watched the dealership change. Used to be a dingy little hole in the wall and the service was pretty good. Now its glitzy and full of a-holes. Still it is a nice car-- with an apr 93 oct upgrade built in!
