How do you determine which air bag is leaking?

TY.

Default the compressor is running until the code light comes on

the light is the one with the car and the up/down arrows. It started last weekend when I had a big man sit in the back seat. since then it's been happening more frequently. Maybe there would some info stored. I suspect the code will be "compressor over temp" or something to that effect.
Naturally this is happening when I had a two week road trip planned to start on Friday.. *G*

I've measured the fender height a couple of mornings and all corners are within 3mm if each other. I searched the Bentley manual/cd this weekend I can't find a troubleshooting sequence. I located the air line distribution block under the rear end last night.

I'd like to find a schematic of the air system I'd like to cut this problem in half somewhere.

So you're saying each airbag has it's own pnuematic circuit?

Default hmmm......

The entire suspension is cumbersom. 1 corner can mean the given bladder has a hole.
The entire front (or rear) can mean both or a feed tube leak or a problem with the manifold block (above the rear sway bar) Or the level sensors, or the Suspensions ECM...

This is why we are asking questions as to your symptoms that lead you to think somethign is wrong.

What you are describing is missing information as to more specific symptoms.

Default I have the same problem, how do I fugure what to replace...

My entire rear leaks. Both corners will be slammed to the ground after about 1.5 - 2 days of sitting there. HOW do I check what's broken? I've tried testing the air bags by spraying soap water on them (no signs of leaks). I want to make sure it's the air bags before I replace. I would hate to replace them and it turns out that they aren't leaking and instead it's a busted manifold or tube. That would suck!

My front driver side also leaks. The front passenger side is fine. Once agian, did the soap water test adn no luck. Any other ideas on how to test for air spring leak?

Default it can be a trial and error.

whic is why some are switching to coilovers. Its a one time 3-4000.00 change. But no more troubleshooting.

So with coilovers you lose the airbags completely? No more ride height adjustment?
