The connectors should have already been screwed into the springs when you got them.

Ok, we got the new fittings on but the front bags still slowly leak. I am assuming because of the audi fittings with the arnott bags.

I didn't see anywhere on the arnott website where they sell any replacement fittings and connectors.

I guess I don't understand why arnott would sell replacement bags and not make them to fit the original oem fittings.

Default Arnott allroad bags

Are these the Arnott Gen II Front Air Bags? Please contact Arnott Tech Support Mon - Fri 8am - 7pm ET at 800-251-8993 X 100 (321) 868-3016 X 100 - they may be able to help diagnose the problem.

It looks like I misunderstood my mechanic when he tried to explain the original problem to me.

Apparently, the air line was ruptured and that is what caused the massive failure.

Now I need to find some replacement air line and splices to repair it. I don't want to have to pay Audi over $200 for their replacement line. I only need about a foot and two splices.

I found another (old) thread that listed the size of the air tube to be 4mm. Can anybody confirm that? I just don't want to order the wrong size.

I have recently spliced into my allroads lines...they are 4mm,I got a t piece and and airline fitting so I could blow the system up manually, you can get straight fittings too, they just push on and that's it,got mine from the local hydraulics place....

That's what I did. I picked up some 4mm tube and a quick connect fitting and spliced it in. No more leaks. Now I have a new, possibly unrelated, issue with the car. One that is worthy of a new thread.
