Default If you have a 2001 it is the manual mode light that causes the level to stick in

that level until you take it off...i.e. it won't change with speed...except for the level 3 and 4 which still have overrides for speed due to the level.

Default

If the yellow light is on, the suspension is in manual mode.

Default that is silly...why no manual mode on 2002+?

I got lucky and have a 2001. If you have a 2002+ there is no way to stop the car from going up and down constantly? That seems as if it would be annoying.

Default it works virtually the same...

the 01: "...except for the level 3 and 4 which still have overrides for speed due to the level"

The 02+ also will change 4-3, 3-2 and 2-1 if you start it in 4 or 3 or 2 it will only adjust back to the starting point.

If you start in 1, it will stay in 1, if you start in 2 it will stay in 2 until around 80+MPH is held for some time. Then it goes to 1 and at lower speed back to 2.

Semi manual?

Default It's pretty useless on 2001 as well.

Default Well, not really.......when driving above 75MPH the 02+ ar's go down to L1, with an 01 ar

that doesn't happen, one reason why you can get away with a slightly lower 402 mod because in manual mode it will stay at L2 above 75MPH.

I'm really not sure why L1 and L2 in the 01 ar can stay at level at all speeds forever and L3 and L4 still react to higher speeds and lower the car automatically even in manual mode but that seems like more of an safety issue / lower center of gravity.

The only time I switch to auto mode for the suspension is during the winter time to ensure the compressor gets some duty cycles.
In the summer she stays mostly on L2 until we hit the highways or tracks, then it's L1 all the way.
In essence I really prefer the 01 ar over later models because the car isn't such a "Dictator" :-)

....just some thoughts....

Default I use it all the time as I like to run on the highway on level 2 not 1 due to rough roads...

I also annectdotally think it helps the air springs as they are not moving all the time, but others beg to differ. Most of the time mine is set at manual for level 2, except the past two or three days in snow and ice, where level 3 and 4 have come in mighty handy
