slight burning smell....
I've been having a slight burning smell comming from my allroad. noticeable then i come to a stop or from the pass side front fender. Any ideas on what it is? I don't smell it much but my girlfriend sure does.

valve cover gasket or cam chain tensioner seal on pass side.
if you take the passenger front wheel off, you should be able to see some remnants of oil on the exhaust manifold outlet up in there. could also be cam plug at the rear of the exhaust cam on pass side.

thats what I was thinking since it was comming from around the pass. side. And I hear these things like to go out. how much of a pita is this to replace?
