Default They are slick, my Carrera 3.0 had one

and I found out the hard way that one had to install it on the car prior to inflating it. I haven't had to install the one on the allroad yet, but I imagine it can be inflated prior to install.

Default Yes, it can.

I've inflated mine when it was off the car. The trick is to inflate it to the correct pressure so it stays the correct diameter. It will increase in size with more pressure, much more so than a standard tire, making it a little harder on the differentials if you "fill it too much."

Default If the Sears mechanic never saw the allroad spare before....

is there any chance that the tech knew about setting the Jack Mode for the suspension before he lifted the car?

I told them ar has air suspension before I drove into garage.
ofc they didnt know how to put ar into a jack mode. I set mine to jack mode long before they even touched my car =)

2 times for me, too. It deflated right back to it's original size. Quite cool!

Default I stand corrected!

Too bad the car has been gone for 5 or 6 years... I still miss it...

Good to know when I have to pick up another 911, not a matter of if, but when.
