Hello All! Its been a LONG time since I've posted over here but I wanted to get a little input from the group on my wobble issue.

It started noticably at about 40+ MPH and shakes the car horribly at about 55-65 when the engine is under load (on the gas). I've noticed that its attributed to a certain RPM (2200+) so I think I've isolated down that its not wheels. I've researched the forum and the concensus that I've drawn is that the driveshaft (connecting the transmission to the rear differential) has a carriage bearing that has gone bad.

Suggestions have been to go to Blauparts.com for the parts but I was wondering if there are other sites that I may be able to get the parts faster. I really need to get this resolved this week since its been over 6 months that its been building to almost the point that the car is not driveable.

You mean other than your local Audi dealer?

My local Audi dealer is the pits and didn't know the difference between the drive axels at each wheel and the drive shaft between then transmission and differential. I have a MB Master mechanic that works on my car now and I just need the rebuild parts.
