I don't post as often as I would like, but been having a helluva time with my '04 AR 2.7T lately. It had a pretty bad shimmey between about 50 and 65ish. Dealer replaced both front CV joints and barely made a difference in the shake. They are wanting to do a roadforce balance, and then recommending new tires if that doesn't work.

I've seen some other posts on here with a smilar shimmey problem, and wanted to see if you ever got resolution on yours. BTW, in the past 7 months, it's had new steering rack and out cv boots as well.

Wow, I had not seen that post yet. Thank you very much for sharing. I'm going to forward it to my service manager at the dealer to get his feedback. If nothing else, I should be able to clean all the crap out in between the double spokes and take the wheels off. They're still in pretty good shape so no need to have them refinished.
