I thought of this thread when we stopped yesterday to look at the Green Mountain Reservoir north of Silverthorne, CO.

What is the "r8 vented oil cap"?
i just thought r8 oil cap doesn't have vent valve, right?

Stratos Blue Pearl was a color offered on the C6 A6 in it's first model year (2005). I loved the color and decided to special order it on my new Allroad (I was trading in my 2001 Allroad). It was ordered in January 2005.....I didn't get delivery until June '05....5 months is a long time to wait. However; the wait proved to be fortuitous as I was able to get DVD Nav Plus, which as I understand it, was available only on the last 50 U.S. bound Allroads. In the pictures, the faces of the bumpers were still black, in 2009 I got them painted Stratos Blue too.....
I take delivery of my A7 in three weeks; however, I'm keeping the Allroad....I have a pair of teenage sons, one of whom has just gotten his licence.....uh oh......

Wish they did them in that colour here. I know what colour I'dbe looking for right now. Defo they best colour I've seen the allroad in.
