This is my Allroad
Hey!
This is my first post as an Allroad owner, thought i´d introduce myself
I live in the arctic region of Norhern Norway. So we have quite rough winters. I live in the coast area, and the warm gulf stream floats by quite near, and gives us very shifting temperatures and conditions.
I´ve been driving Quattro´s ever since i got my license 11 years ago.
2 A4 tq´s, 3 C4 urS4/urS6 tq´s, one C5 S6 q, and a 75 Audi 50 for fun
Last winter i drove a very lowered urS6, and i godt tired of snowplowing all the time. Had to change brake lines every spring with that car...
I want to drive LOW in the summer, but have the opportunity to elevate when conditions are bad. So, Allroad quickly came to mind.
Specs:
2003 2,7T Tiptronic
Navigation, two-tone Recaro interior,
Winter package (heated seats, windshield sprayers, doorlocks and steeringwheel) other than that, standard equipped.
18" Ruff Racing w/245 45 on summer,
17" twinspoke AR with 225/55 studless tires for winter (will swap tires)
Plans:
Serviceing the Tiptronic (this week hopefully)
Having all gray areas and interior trim painted flat black
20" summerwheels -i´m thinking RH Crossline or similar
Studded 17" or 18" winter wheels setup
Maaaaybe switching to RNS-E navi
402´mod
The car is in pretty good contition. a little wear on the climate control buttons, and some imperfections around the power window panel. Other than that, it looks good. Need a good compund and polish, I will have that done before winter sets in a month or so.
So, here´s a few pics:
Here´s a pic i took with my cellphone. Long drive up a rough tractor trail to process and pick up wood for burning this winter. I went level 4 -car looks weird, but it really is functionable!
Got to say I´m really happy with the Allroad this far.

Thanks, Ricam78! Meet me halfway, we´ll make deal
Love these seats, I often drive for 5+hours straight, and i never get back issues. They make the Allroad super comfy..

I think it´s easier to just go on ebay
Found some more pics..
What do you guys think about using these 19" wheels for the Allroad, if i buy new tires and spacers? They are splitted Oz Opera, 8,5X19 ET 35...
I don´t like spacers, but i´ve come to realize i pobably have to use them..

Congrats on the allroad, they are a lot of fun. I also have to agree with ricam78, those seats are awesome!!! Too damn bad the U.S. Never got them on the ARs.
