Default is it normal if the driver's side mirror doesn't fold when I use the switch?

the passenger side mirror folds and also tilts down when I put in in reverse(parking assistance) but not the driver's side. At first I thought that since I can reach the driver's side they didn't bother to make it 'power mirror' as well...

Default drivers side does not tilt in reverse.

it is supposed to fold in when you turn the **** at the same time the passenger does.

I took the mirror housing off and removed the mirror, but I don't see anything wrong with it. I was hopping to find something loose... or some kind of stop pin/connector that's missing. Do you know what I should be looking for?

Default Only the passenger side is designed to tilt down...

... not the driver's side.

Default yes. paulroad told me that, but it won't fold...

unfortunately there's nothing about the folding motor in the service manual...

Default The mirror housing doesn't fold in Reverse, the mirror glass tilts down and in...

both mirrors should fold in when the switch is moved to the folding position. This is assuming that your model has folding mirrors, I don't know if all did.

Quick Reply: is it normal if the driver's side mirror doesn't fold when I use the switch?
