Maybe there is a little un-metered air??? Check the MAF reading at idle???

Default Most likely is a vacuum leak. Hitach MAF's have higher reliability than Bosch

but I have seen Hitachis go bad. What is you MAF reading at idle , 2500 no load, and at WOT 4500RPM in 3/4 gear?

Default I will have to log it... but the MIL happens at low <1500 RPM

What's the impact of running with this "error" for a few weeks? It's a momentary thing - I'm clearing the code as it happens and I'm getting it back once per day.

Default Probably air leak. MAF shift usually results in load errors, long term fuel errors

and some drivability issues.

Default my friend could hear the leak in his - open the hood have someone else hit the gas

and listen for it. If that doesnt work than you'll probably have to ask someone smarter than me.
