my mpg is terrible
16 city/ 21 hwy. 05 2.7t auto with 32k miles. i drive it like an old lady and its terrible. im lucky to get close to 290 miles on a tank. whats going on? im thinking about trading it for something else.

Sorry, to be disrespectful, but are you nuts? Look at the mpg on any other AWD and then
factor in the "tank factor"...this thing weighs almost 4400 lbs, mine with eight air bags...if you can find anything this safe, that won't rollover that holds this many folks and stuff with better mileage I'll eat my hat (and it is a really warm and fuzzy one
...ask your buddies driving the Equinox what they get in town and the 28 on the Suburu Outback is on a good day, with no people or stuff and a tailwind...that is all.
