As long as the car is running, I just started getting this fan-like noise. It's like a blow dryer or a large fan. When I shut the car off, it takes about 5 additional seconds for the fan noise to wind down. It's loud enough that other people not in the car could hear it to. Any ideas??? Please help!

could be your radiator fan is cracked... look at them both with the engine off

that would be the aux cooling fan..it goes on when the a/c goes on.
