Default LATCH Modified allroads...

What was installed? How does it look? Do the latch anchors interfere with the cargo area with the seats down? Any photos?

Thanks
Brian

Default I had two pairs of anchor installed for free...

Left and right, with plastic black guides I removed easily (I pulled them out). You can't see the anchors (w/o the guides). No problem with the seats down.
Sorry no pic.

Default some related posts....see my pix poster as well.

For the LATCH install, Audi must install these parts (free of charge) per NHTSA guidelines. If your Audi dealer doesn't have someone capable of installing these, then try another dealer. Don't let them push you around on this service. I also came across this phone number for Audi: (800) 822-2834 to verify this information. I called this# and spoke to someone who verified it. AoA policy is that they will retrofit any '98 and later Audi which has the lower anchor inserts in the chassis. I think the parts need to be ordered before they can schedule the service.

Parts:
Brackets (x2) - 430-813-545A
Screws (x4) - 8L0-837-453

Default "If your Audi dealer doesn't have someone capable of installing these..."

then they must have an empty garage. It's a very, very simple nut&bolt modification that takes about 15 minutes.
