Default Kinney Motors Rutland,Vt. service dept. is useless.......................

Anyone else have problems with them?

I dropped my car off last Monday to have a rear main seal replaced under extended 3rd party warranty. Company rep came out to asses the car Tuesday morning and they were ready to give the approval by that afternoon, just waiting for a callback from Kinney after they called them. Service rep. was calling a number with no answer for 5 days and didn't figure to try the number on the contract, I gave him the number on Sat.morning, He didn't call until monday to get the approval. You'd figure he ordered the parts last week since I made the appt. 2 weeks ago but no, he "just" got the parts in today and they're hoping to work on it tomorrow, so they couldn't even do the work last week in the first place. Amazing!!. Too bad it's the only show in town. Vermont has 2 dealers in the entire state. Can't comment on the tech's but from what I've seen the seem to be very good.

Default Glad I'm in an area with dealer/service options

Hopefully, they'll get the work done tomorrow and you're back on the road.

Default This is why I'd rather beat up my hands and risk messing things up then have my car serviced.

And of course, the cost of labor.

Default had good luck with a female service manager there....I wish I remembered her name.

Got me right in after 2 coilpacks went on me on its maiden voyage from CT.

Default suggest Imported Car Center in Williston, VT

Excellent and knowledgable about Audis and 2 good techs who know allroads. A very good place to have them find good used Audis.
