granted you would have to find an ECU and tune it as well. But how hard would the mechanics be?<ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/Audi-S4-Allroad-4-2L-2005-V8-Complete-Chain-Engine-20K_W0QQitemZ270313814279QQihZ017QQcategoryZ33615Q QssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem">click</a></li></ul>

Default ketten v8 has chain driven cams at the back of the engine. It's how Audi shoe-horned it into the

C5 chassis....and the B6S4 and subsequent "B" platform cars for that matter

Default They make such a big deal about how the motor had to be short to squeeze in the c5 yet the

A6 4.2 used the old "bigger" belt motor with just slight front bumper &amp; radiator support modification. &amp; the RS6 did the same with two turbo's.

Default personally I liked the front end of the A6 4.2 much better than the standard C5.

....what was it, about an inch and-a-half longer nose?...and aluminum fenders to go along with the aluminum hood (like all other c5 chassis cars had) to save on some weight...?

I do as well. The wide body car is a nice looking piece.

I've seen several nice cars go for under $6,000.
