Default Guess the Cost (new shop test)

I'm in the NYC area and brought in my '04 6spd with 88k mi to a new (to me) shop to get some things addressed. See if you can guess the cost! I'm curious if I got a fair price and if so, I'd like to recommend the place.

Here goes...I wanted to do the timing belt, plus the break and check engine lights were on and the car was making a louder than normal whining/whirring noise, plus it needed an oil change.

3 days in the shop and this is the list of issues addressed:

Full timing belt replacement (includes the ancillaries)
New alternator (addresses the whirring noise)
Front/rear break pads (break light addressed)
Replace EGT sensors (plural + addresses check engine light)
Front (left only) axle boot replaced
Oil change
+
Labor

Any guesses?

I'll see if a few more responses come before even hinting as to whether that was high/low, but thanks for playing!

Timing belt = $1500
Alternator = $600
Front Rear brakes = $700
EGT Sensors = $900
Axle Boot = $600
Oil Change = $75
Labor = $1500

Given that I have had some of these done, my estimates are conservative. I'll give a round $6K

The T-belt and alt service prices are really nice... most competent shops can do a T-belt change in 3 hrs...but usually will charge you for 6-8.

I should drive the 2 hrs for service down there !!
