Default Well, I'm late again and it's Sat but I have owned my ar since Nov 04 and I'm

the second owner, got it at about 33k and now at over 102k and still love it enough to put up with its "issues"....given the horrible bad no good winter we had (are still having as it snowed last night I wouldn't want to be driving anything else.

Default 1st clutch wasn't bad when AWE did a stage 3 install back in 2004. They put in 1 of their stage 2

clutches at that time and that clutch is going fast. They disengage the self adjusting clutch mechanism on the pressure plate. I thought that the pedal release point would just rise as the clutch wore, but apparently that is not the case and instead it is getting harder and harder to get the car in gear with clutch pedal in while running. Turn the car off and it engages fine. Reverse it just about impossible to engage now while running. Car wants to lurch foward when starting if I start with clutch in with a gear engaged.

Default I think I got mine 4/01 or so. I guess that was early on...

I remember it had a 10/00 build date. Time flies.

So I see you decided against the BMW 535i Touring?

Default Still allroad happy

At the time I needed to make a decision (last June), the 535xi wasn't yet available. I'm happy holding onto the allroad, especially with Jason heading to college in the fall.
