Used mint/loaded $35K US spec allroad, delivered and reprogrammed for $40K, still works out to 30K euros at the current exchange rate. I'm sure the licensing/registration would be a bear though. Maybe you bring it into an EU country with few legal requirements, then transfer it form there?

White turn signals
I'm taking my 2004 allroad to the Netherlands next year. I just read up on the vehicle requirements and it is allowed to have white turn signals in the front. You are required to have white parking lights there so swapping the amber bulb for a white bulb will solve this issue. I'm not sure how this is for Finland but I would expect other EU countries to have similar rules.
