I really like some of the models audi is coming up with lately -- S4 Avant or TDI really looks great as does the Q5. And I would really like to be in a clean diesel for about 12 different reasons. Environment and mileage being the first eleven. (torque being the last. -- OK well maybe thats reversed)...

But I dont want to grab the first of any model line and I am also concerned that ultra-low sulfur diesel isnt as readily available around me as I'd like. So I figure two years or so from now those new models will be available and the diesels will be in the models I want. Until then I can enjoy my extremely well-behaved 4.2 ar that does everything I want it to.

--or I could turn it in and get a barely used G55 MB Galendawagen and drive it for 500k miles. (one thousand for each horsepower. Yikes)

Guys after much painful back and forth about all the different options...I decided to breakdown and get the Q7. We had planned on getting it for months and it was hard to change course. It's my wife's daily driver and this is what she really wanted.

We pick it up tomorrow. I'll have the Allroad for a few more weeks. I'm under on the mileage and will park my daily driver and rack up the miles on that car and enjoy it while I still can.
